by DigiPimp on Sep.04, 2005, under Reviews
Alright so I finally got my hands on it and we can thank my boys over at ChopsMusic.com also the place where you can cop your own copy of the new mixtape/dvd. But I got my hands on the discs this weekend thanks to some fast shipping from them and here’s the run down on what’s up. First thing you’ll notice is a big picture of Bun B on the album artwork so you already know what you’re about to hear is going to be hot. Mix that in with Chops and the boy DJ Lt. Dan and you know you’re about to have a real banger on your hands with hot beats, dirty flows and sick mixing in and out of everything. (continue reading…)
Soldiers United 4 Cash
by DigiPimp on Aug.03, 2005, under Reviews
Alright so my boy REL hooked me up with a copy of his DJ Screw documentary Soldiers United 4 Cash. So you’re like alright what the fuck is that. Well I’ll tell you it’s some history of the DJ Screw and his infamous crew from Houston, the Screwed Up Click.
Right now many of you might see guys like Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Slim Thugg and of course Lil Flip blowing up the spot for the south and putting Houston on the map. But the game didn’t start with these guys, nor did the style. Back in the early 90’s we had a man putting together his new technique and pinned himself DJ Screw for his screwed up beats and flows. Paul Wall Peoples Champ Mixtape Review
by DigiPimp on Jul.22, 2005, under Reviews
You know I was really looking forward to getting ahold of this mixtape when I first heard about it. 46 tracks of Swishahouse and Paul Wall madness, some regular, some remixed, some chopped and screwed. I was definitely expecting this one to be hot. So I’ll tell you once I got my hands on it and threw it on, it starts off with the intro which is like a commercial for the upcoming Peoples Champ album, that’s no surprise. But then we’re right into the Sittin Sidewayz remix which all of you already know that track and it’s a hot one.

4th25 Exclusive Interview
by DigiPimp on Jul.14, 2005, under Reviews
It wasn’t long ago that I caught up with Big Neal of 4th25. For those of you that don’t know or don’t remember, 4th25 is a group of guys that while doing a tour of duty in Iraq got some recording equiptment shipped to them and recorded a real and raw album about the military life, Iraq and their experiences in the war. So not too long after Big Neal and the guys got back i spoke with him on the phone and arranged this interview to talk about many things. His views of the world, the war, the music and anything else on his mind at the time. It’s a good read, and he’s got a lot of things to say that you guys should hear, along with the music. So check it out. (continue reading…)
DJ Drama – Young Jeezy – Trap or Die Review
by DigiPimp on Jun.19, 2005, under Reviews
Alright alright so I might not have been much of a fan of Jeezy in the past, but this past week I’ve been listening to Trap or Die from DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz mixtape classics. I have to say, it’s not bad, in fact it’s a better than not bad, it’s pretty good. Jeezy can flow, even though he maybe talks about himself and how great he is a little more than is neccessary. In fact he probably does it a lot more than is needed especially on the intro, but hey I guess he feels like he’s got to speak out.
Anyway I’d say it’s pretty solid, filled with exclusive Jeezy mixing it up with Bun B, Fabolus, (continue reading…)
FreakyDeak.com Porn from the Hood
by DigiPimp on Jun.17, 2005, under Reviews
Yo guys I thought I would share something with you. My homeboy has got his own little site up and coming. He’s straight up in the hood finding hoodrats and honies who want to get freaky on the camera. I talked with him the other day and he gave me an inside sneak peek inside his site to check it out. The site is FreakyDeak and I can say after checking it out that he’s hitting these hoes up hard. He’s got several ladies in there already that he’s done up FreakyDeak style. Got them down on their knees or getting tossed up from behind, you name it he does it to them. He’s even got the action on DVD if you want to sit back in your crib and watch some hoes work their jelly on your big screen. So check him out, I know you’ll like, cause it’s real, hardcore women off the streets getting fucked.
