Big Red Rooster Live Footage
by DigiPimp on Nov.25, 2007, under Flows
I caught up with a little footage from TrillSouth.com recentely and Big Red Rooster. So if you havent heard of these guys then I’ve got a little treat for you. It’s a rap rock combination with a little R&B flavor to it all. I think these guys may well be one of the next big groups to blow up the Dallas scene. They’re recently signed to Play N Skillz G4 Records and here’s a little video footage of a recent live performance. You can of course check out TrillSouth for plenty more coverage and bonus video.
Lava House ‘Out My Mind’ Live
by DigiPimp on Oct.22, 2007, under Flows
I caught this video from TrillSouth and it’s the LavaHouse crew performing ‘Out My Mind’ live at a club. Check out the hotgirl at the end of the video doing the ratchet a bit. She looks like she could use a little bit of help getting that skirt to stay down, dont you think?
It’s Ratchetfied In Da Ghetto and you can see more of the videos at TrillSouth.com where they keep it Trill in the south!
You can catch these guys getting around the south and pushing CD’s and making good music. So remember to keep it ratchet in the south with the Lava House!

Tumzilla & Mr Lucci Do It Big for Dallas
by DigiPimp on Jun.26, 2007, under Flows, Interviews
So you already know I said I was going to try and hook you guys up with some exclusive video from Monday nights release party for Tum Tum and Mr Lucci. Well I did that and got a couple surprises for you as well. So yeah I was out and doing the damn thing and trying to get a little video of what went down and let you know. We were at Club One in Deep Ellum and let me say the place definitely has some @ssholes working the doors, but that kind of thing happens when you feel you’re more important than you are.
So anyway the club was deep with all kinds of people and plenty of ratchets as you’ll be able to see in the videos. So on with the show, I’ve got a sample of videos and we can start it off with a little bit of Mr Lucci and the Stoney Crook Family as they took the stage first at about 2:30 in the a.m.
Why people go to this club I dont even know. I had on a clean white t and was made to buy a $20 f@#king sticker so that I didnt appear to be gang affiliated. Put a sticker on my t-shirt and somehow Im now good. But as you can see Mr Lucci, Mr Pookie and the Stoney Crook guys are definitely on the come up and that Mr Lucci ‘100% Real’ is in the stores as of today so grab it while you can find it. Believe that title too, Lucci is a real dude and was by far the most friendly and down to earth artist I’ve met yet. (continue reading…)
Mr Lucci, Mr Pookie, Presidential Trap House & more ….
by DigiPimp on Jun.24, 2007, under Dirt, Flows, Interviews
So it went down last night people I was at a small ghetto country event with none other than D towns Mr Lucci, Mr Pookie and the Stoney Crook Family. But there were others as well at this small event hosted by my man BJ from Street Fever DVD Magazine. You know we had to start it in the parking lot and get a little of that freestyle action flowing before kicking the doors in and blowing the roof off. Lookout for a little Chris McCain and watch out for your man Young Gangsta getting in there about 1 minute in, you’ll see more of him you can bet on that.
It went down with all the guys getting on stage and working up a sweat in some southern late night heat. Things started off with my boy from the OKC Chris McCain working the mic to warm the crowd up a bit. But they went crazy for your boy Chop Chop with the Presidential Trap House crew. It was a homecoming for the man Chop as he took the stage with that exclusive sh!t and damn near shut the place down. (continue reading…)

by DigiPimp on Jun.14, 2007, under Dirt, Flows
So whats up to all the people reading and all the haters that are going to comment. I’ve got a few things for you, a new video from Tum Tum. It’s the Anthem video and it’s for the streets and the people on the block. I know the haters came out last time I posted about Tumzilla but don’t sleep on this man he’s about to do some serious things.
I’ve also got that Hurricane Chris straight out of Ratchet City, thats Shreveport for those of you that dont know. He’s got that A Bay Bay jam thats making its way through the clubs and onto BET getting a little airplay lately. Check out the video thats about the A Bay Bay and how it originated as well as more about the Port.
A little news on Chamillionaire is that we’re looking at Mixtape Messiah 3 dropping in just about 4 days for free. You know Cham always likes to put out his own leaks and mixtapes for the fans to hold them over while he’s in between album releases. You can bet that when it drops if not before I’ll give you the link and let you know whats up.
Im also working on getting some video from that Grit Boys video shoot that happened this past weekend. I’ve seen a little behind the scenes stuff floating around but not much thats worth checking out so I talked to them directly to see about getting hooked up with a little bit to show you. It’s that brand new video for ‘Fresh’ with Tum Tum and Trae. (continue reading…)
Are you feeling Grandaddy Souf?
by DigiPimp on Jun.08, 2007, under Flows
You know I wasn’t even going to post about it but then why the fuck not. Are you feeling Grandaddy Souf or do you even know who he is? He’s doing it real dirty out of Florida, Orlando specifically and is about to drop his first major release on SRC records, but have you even heard of him?
I’ll admit I had no idea who he was until recently when his PR people were putting the word out on him and his release this month. I took a little listen to some tracks on his MySpace and then watched a video on the tube and I have to say it’s not bad. Im not sure I’ll be riding with it in the slab this summer, but I dont mind hearing it compared to some garbage like Yung Joc. So what do you think? If you haven’t heard of him or don’t know then you can read a little more about it on the article I wrote at my blog SOHH Dirty on SOHH. And you can watch a video here if you click on inside for more. (continue reading…)
New Tum Tum Mixtape
by DigiPimp on Jun.06, 2007, under Dirt, Flows
So I spoke with Tum Tum on the phone Monday since he’s got an album that’s about to hit the streets on the 26th of this month. He’s checking the site out and he’s getting ready to shoot a video with Grit Boyz and Trae in Houston but then he’s back to Dallas soon for his album release and more.
I can’t say what Im going to get setup for sure but Im trying to arrange meeting up with him and some of the DSR crew either at the release party, event or the next video shoot and asking him some questions and just letting him speak on what hes got planned for the near future.
While thats in the oven being cooked up he’s got a new mixtape with DJ Smallz called ‘Can I Live’ and I’ve got a link for you to download and bump that shit in your car this weekend. I’ll be back with more news and hopefully some exclusive video soon! Click on the pic to download the mixtape.
