So for those of you that might have noticed today, a little bit down on the right sidebar I threw in a new feature for you to check out and enjoy. I know you’re checking the site out and a big fan of that dirty south hip hop like me so I’ve added in a new feature where you can check out my hot 5 mixtape mp3’s that I can rotate through at anytime but will likely do once a week or so. It’s just way to give you guys a sample of what’s out there and hot on the new mixtapes from the south, and occasionally I’ll throw in something else that’s not from the south that I think you should check out. Yeah enjoy the long weekend everybody and remember to think of those who are stuck in bad situations giving up their lives for us to have such good times here in the US even if only for a moment. Regardless of the current government like them or not, we’ve got a great country and a lot of opportunity. There are always things to overcome and improvements to be made but we’re lucky people here in the US. So have a good time and have a drink for those fighting for us and their families who can’t be with them right now. I know I’m going to relax a bit and get back to the grind here and bring you guys some good hot stuff this month. So have a good one!

You could just feel that song, the beat, the rap, the production it was all there. So anyway I think today of all the beef going around and how everyone feels like it’s cool to exploit beef. It’s kind of quiet right now down here in the south. I mean we might have a little beef happening with a few people but it’s really nothing to talk about or even worth talking about. So what’s up people? What’s going down? What are you into right now that’s keeping you going for the summer time and what would you like to see on here?

So what’s up I changed the look of Grippin the Grain, what do you think? Is it hot, or is it horrible? Easier to navigate, easier on the eyes? I’ve still got the old design and I’ve got it setup so that with a click of the button I can throw it back up anytime. I just thought it would be nice to have another look to throw at you. Just got my hands on this bad boy tonight so I’m about to listen to it and see what’s up. This is the Dub Edition yep that’s from the game Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition. It looks like another blockbuster DJ Smallz lineup with the hottest stars of the south hosted by Yin Yang Twins. But don’t worry it includes new and exlusive stuff from the likes of Chamillionaire, Bun B, 3-6 Mafia, Lil Scrappy, Birdman, Lil Flip, Da Backwudz and more just to name a few. I’m going to check it out and then get you a review of the hottest tracks and the ones you’ll probably want to skip over as well as the album artwork and track listing so be on the lookout for it!

Just a day or so ago I heard from one of the guys involved with the company that made the movie 20 Funerals, it was released on DVD Tuesday and it looks like they’ll be sending me a copy soon for me to drop a review on you guys. So stay tuned for that.

I also will be adding an interview with the guys from 4th25 about everything from their album, experiences in Iraq, and what’s coming next from them.
