So its the trend right now to show off your tats. Its like every other rapper I see has tats showing off in his pics, magazine covers, videos, tv shows, album covers. But have you ever noticed most of these rappers with their hardcore gang style tats didnt get them until they got rich? Does that still give you street credibility or make you just another fake music industry marketing tool?

Name a rapper for me that has more tats now than he had before and tries to sell himself with some street credibility. I’ll start with Lil Wayne (can someone get this man a shirt), now you speak on this one for me ……..

If you want it to be about the music and your lyrical skills then don’t try to come at people as something you clearly aren’t, and never have been.

I guess it’s only fitting that Lil Wayne is going to team up with another rapper who got all his g style tats after getting rich, Im talking about The Game. These two are a match made in studio gangsta heaven!
