Unless you’re living in a cave then you already know that Pimp C is back on the streets. Pimp has been dropping lyrics and heat all over singles for every major southern rapper you can think of including himself and for upcoming UGK shit. The first big thing to hit the streets since he’s been out is the Pimpalation DVD that’s been out for a little less than 2 weeks now and I got my copy courtesy of The Mixunit this weekend. So you know I’ve already watched that shit like 3 times because it’s the Return of the Trill and here’s the Trill review from GrippinGrain.com with pics!

So what is the Pimpalation DVD you’re wondering. Obviously it’s Pimp C but it’s also the story of Pimp C and UGK from the start, inside prison and after the release. It’s got videos from all the latest hot singles that are getting dropped with TI, Lil Flip, Z-Ro, Willie D, Trae and whatever else he’s dropped since he got released. The DVD goes on with tons of exclusive footage of Pimp C since the release hanging out in the studio, dropping lyrics, working on dropping as he says “3 songs a day” and just being Pimp C.

He might not be what you would expect and maybe he’s a changed man since his release but he’s still got the same hot flow and is repping UGK for life. J Prince appears in this video as much as anyone, Bun B is the same and you get to see all of what goes on behind the scenes and even footage from Port Arthur as Pimp shows you right on Texas Ave. where he says it all went down back in the 80’s.

Definitely a good DVD for all the UGK fans, southern rap fans and really for anyone that is into rap and might have heard of Bun B or heard someone saying Free Pimp C in the past 4 years. Plenty of new music, artists, straight up talk by Pimp C about prison, life after and how to keep it real on the streets. You definitely gotta cop this shit and throw it in your Escalade while you’re swanging on the streets in the south!
