It must have been destiny or maybe something more but the Steelers got lucky yesterday in the big one when it counted. I had them picked to the beat the Seahawks by two touchdowns and I was damn near close on that one but what I didn’t pick was for them to play so bad and for the refs to be so sloppy. Maybe if I was a Seahawks fan I would be more angry but that officiating was just a little sloppy and that just can’t happen in the big game. I can only imagine had it been my Raiders in there how bad it would have been, but then again that’s just me imagining.

Either way the Steelers are winners and they did it with a lot of luck and some talent. They didn’t play hard nose old school football the way they did in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs but then honestly this Seahawks team was pretty lucky just to be there. They plan in a horribly weak division and didn’t beat many notable teams in the regular season when it counted. Either way the commercials were probably better than the game and that seems to be a trend the past few years. I was really looking forward to sitting down and watching a good old school football brawl yesterday and what I got was sloppy and boring most of the time.
