Alright so about 2 nights ago I got my hands on this DJ Drama, 8Ball & MJG – Legend Series Volume 2 and I have been listening to it from start to end to see what’s up and if it’s as hot as it should be if it’s going to have 8Ball & MJG on the cover and here’s what I think. I’ve also got the album artwork and tracklist for you inside with a little bit of info on what I thought was hot and what’s not.

So we start out with a P Diddy intro, as usual he’s yelling and screaming about being a legend and shit. Maybe it’s just me but I could live the rest of my fucking life without ever hearing this guy again and I’d be happy. Once you can get past him and it’s hard since he’s co-hosting the shit, then the rest is pretty hot. The 2nd track We Dem Boyz starts right out with recognizing the legends of the south Geto Boys, UGK and 8Ball/MJG and then they flow right into what’s a pretty hot track.

Don’t worry cause this mixtape has got more than P Diddy screaming loud, it’s got some quality rhymes with 8Ball & MJG, not to mention Bun B, Scarface, Juve, Lil Wayne and of all people the Outlawz on the 6th track Really Care

You know I’d say it’s a pretty hot mixtape, definitely not the best I’ve heard, I’m still going to have to switch back and bump that DJ Smallz and DJ Lt Dan shit probably, but this is pretty nice, got a good 3 or 4 songs that I’ll add to top rated on my iTunes to get in the mix.
